Victoria Hernández

HR Director
Victoria Hernandez began employment at Carisam-Samuel Meisel, as a member of the Human Resources Department in June 2017; in May 2023, Victoria was promoted to the Director of Human Resources position. She is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources function and establishing a vision and direction for the full complement of core human capital programs, polices and services. Including planning and overseeing human resources functional operations, such as talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. She administers and provides leadership and direction in the development of HR policies that promote maximum effectiveness in the Carisam-Samuel Meisel workforce while supporting the company’s mission and values.
Prior to joining Carisam-Samuel Meisel, she began her HR career in 2010; with a global manufacturing company that supplies high-performance and quality apparel to major retailers across North America. Her last position was at First Bank of Florida, where she was responsible for critical human resources functions and workforce HR relations for corporate and including several bank branches in Florida.
Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Keiser University and is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and currently studying to obtain her SHRM-SCP certification. Victoria is bilingual in English and Spanish.
