VP Operations

Ivan Padilla is an accomplished and results-oriented Vice President of Operations with 25 years of leading cross-functional teams to achieve excellent results. He joined Carisam-Samuel Meisel in June 1999; where he held the position of VP of Purchasing and in the year 2005 accepted the role of VP of Operations. Ivan has a proven track record in developing and implementing operational strategies that have increased efficiency and reduced costs. Ivan is skilled in risk management, process optimization, and fostering a collaborative work environment to drive revenue growth and improve productivity and customer satisfaction. He is responsible for all operations functions and workflow; he oversees the IT department and tobacco business, while ensuring compliance for all bonded warehouse operations to be fully compliant with US Customs regulations.

Before joining Carisam, he held the position of Regional Manager at Copart and started his management career right after college in the Farmers Insurance Group. 

Ivan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College of California. On his leisure time he enjoys experiencing different cultures through travel.
