Executive VP & Chief Executive Officer

As the Executive Vice President and CEO of Carisam-Samuel Meisel, Alejandro Chevalier brings more than 30 years of senior leadership executive management experience. He joined Carisam in September 2017 and is responsible for overseeing all facets of the organization, including financial functions, operations, HR and commercials areas. He also ensures that all productivity targets are reached for all core businesses – Sales, Distribution and Cigar business. Alejandro drives the mission, vision, and values of Carisam in all he does, exuding a dynamic, effective, and influential leadership style that motivates the Carisam team.

Alejandro began his career in Xerox for 15 years, starting as a Financial, Risk and Marketing Analyst, occupying different positions, that led him to his management role as a Sales and Marketing Manager. He later held leadership roles in Motta International as an Executive Assistant Vice President and at Global Brands as Commercial Vice President.

Alejandro received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a Major in Finance from Loyola University, New Orleans. He enhanced his knowledge by participating in several courses such as marketing, management, and financial taken at INCAE, ADEN and NYU Stern School of Business.
